Dylan Brown
(DJ Dylan B) Has a career in the DJ industry that spans over 20 years, Getting his first
set of turntables in 2000, by 2002 he had residencies and across the underground nightlife of
Auckland City. He then left for Europe and went head first into the underground club scene and play
sets in Spain, Italy, France, London and the US.
Since returning to NZ in 2010 he has run a successful private events company and hosted
underground house and drum and bass radio shows on the former Radio Ponsonby and guest spots
on George fm.
Dylan began teaching DJing as an art form in 2020 and the legendary Penrose Underground and is
now the director of the Auckland’s premier DJ School in Ponsonby, NZ
Wiremu Kapa
(DJ Wil K The Baddist ) Wil has been in the Auckland Club scene since the early 2000’s in NZ. His name is synonymous in the Hip Hop & Rnb scene across Auckland city.
In 2008 he moved across the ditch where his explosive turntablist style saw him win 4 x DMC
championships across Australia. He since returned to NZ and now continues to dominate the open format club and bar scene whilst running a highly sought after DJ & Entertainment agency.
Will has been teaching his craft for over 5 years to students, specialising in hip hop scratch and
energetic and dynamic mixing techniques.
Chris Cox
(Frank Booker) He's one of New Zealand’s most respected and acclaimed DJs: With a
history spanning over 25 years in the industry, he is highly regarded both at home and abroad.
Frank Booker is a renowned DJ & producer internationally through his ongoing release and touring
schedule and has performed extensively throughout Australia, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, France,
Holland, Switzerland, USA and Brazil. In New Zealand, he has performed at every major music
festival, including the likes of Electric Avenue, Rhythm & Vines, Splore and many more.
In music education, Chris was the Programme Leader of DJ & Electronic Music Production at the Music & Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) in Auckland from 2014-2019.
In 2018 he became an Ableton Certified Trainer, and continues to work on music education projects
for Auckland Council, Serato, SAE and others.
Kate Wood
Kate has been in the Auckland live music scene for 15 years and is an esteemed and sought after
vocalist. She is an experienced wedding and events DJ and budding producer. Her legendary disco
edits already being played around town and beyond.
Kate is currently being trained up as a DJ tutor and we are super lucky to have her onboard
